The abstract submission deadline for the 2nd Pan-GASS meeting ‘Understanding & Modelling Atmospheric Processes’ has been extended to the 7th of November 2017.

The UMAP meeting aims to bring together NWP and climate scientists, observationalists, and modellers to discuss the key issues of atmospheric science and to coordinate efforts to improve weather and climate models. The program will include all aspects and methods of model development from deterministic numerics to stochastic forcing; process modelling to parameterization; observational constraints to diagnostic techniques; idealized modelling to operational forecasting and climate predictions.
The meeting will be held in Lorne (near Melbourne), Victoria, Australia, from 26 Feb 2018 — 2 Mar 2018.
