The WWRP Joint Working Group on Forecast Verification Research (JWGFVR) is planning the 9th International Verification Methods Workshop (IVMW), to be held in May 2024 in Cape Town (South Africa). The event will encompass two parts: the verification tutorial (15th – 18th May, 2024) will consist of topical lectures and practical assignments; the scientific workshop (20th – 23rd May) will include keynote talks, along with contributed oral and poster presentations.
